Can we make heat flow preferentially in one direction—while still transmitting a significant amount?
We’re offering a Master’s / final-year engineering internship at PROMES (CNRS / Université de Perpignan) on radiative thermal diodes.
The project combines physical modelling and spectral optimization to investigate the trade-off between thermal rectification and transmitted heat flux.
We’re looking for a curious, rigorous student with strong foundations in physics, thermal sciences or applied mathematics, and an interest in scientific programming.
